Louise meséket ír, Alexandre éttermet vezet. Louise hat éve elvált, egyedül él, Alexandre válófélben van, és három gyermek édesapja. Louise szeret olvasni, és rengeteg hobbija van, Alexandre csak a munkának él, semmi más nem köti le a figyelmét. Nagyon különbözőek, mégis nagyon egymáshoz valók.
