Iván Sára, színházunk zeneszerző-karmestere, rengeteg nemzetközi díj birtokosa számos kamaradarab után most különleges kortárs vígopera komponálására vállalkozott, amelynek librettóját Molnár Ferenc egyfelvonásosa szolgáltatta. A kecskeméti operajátszás ezzel ismét szintet lépett, hogy újabb nemzetközi érdeklődésre számot tartó produkcióval álljon elő.

Our offer
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
Bartók Béla’s two highly influential stage works explore the dynamics of the relationship between man and woman and the deeper layers of their personalities, as presented by creators who, through a fusion of tradition and innovation, reveal the possibilities inherent in these works for 21st-century audiences.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
