Azt mondják, halálod pillanatában lepereg előtted életed filmje. Ha buddhista vagy, akkor valószínűleg a következő élet előzetese is. De ha hihetünk a szóbeszédnek, az utolsó pillanatban egyszer, utoljára – vagy talán először – egyben láthatod az egészet . És amit látsz, meg fog lepni: nem egy csavaros játékfilm, nem is felzaklató doku – csupán összedobált snittek zavaros egymásutánja egy bizarr történettel, aminek az eleje hiányzik, a befejezése pedig érthetetlen. Egy olyan film, ami gyártási terv, forgatókönyv és próba nélkül készült, amiben a szereplők esetlenül botladoznak és improvizálnak, aminek a főszerepére senki nem castingolt téged, ahol a rendező kiléte talány. Nem vígjáték, nem is tragédia – leginkább börleszk.
Kovács András Péter estje erről a börleszkről szól, az egyes életszakaszok legnagyobb elhasalásairól, a Vihar a Biliben c. estből ismert vicces és elgondolkodtató stílusban, az est végére pedig kiderül: mindegy, melyikünk filmjét játssza a mozigépész, nincs új sztori – csetlés-botlásaink emberiek, mélyek és egyetemesek.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
