Being part of the international Electro Swing Club franchise is a great reward for Orfeum as a pioneer club in Budapest.
The Electro Swing Club parties evoke the decadent, sultry world of the 20s, 30s with the coolest electro swing DJs who mix trendy, vibrant music and all above there are burlesque dancers, as well as live shows every time to get the full picture.
For the first time Max Pashm will be the guest from London. He’s one of the founders of the club network, an experienced DJ, and band leader of the balkan beats / electro swing scene. He launched his new record label Electro Swing Records this summer and toured in many European countries, the USA, Canada, and Mexico as a DJ.
The speciality for the night will be a new electro swing live act by Adel Csobot – a new found talent of the Hungarian X-Factor 2012 – and Ordiman, in which she can show her singing talents again in the music genre that fits her the most.
Local residents Suefo & Ordiman are also known names in the international electro swing scene. Both have played in many places over Europe and their tunes were released on various compilations. Suefo’s own project Savages y Suefo, in collaboration with remixers like [dunkelbunt], Kid Loco, or Fab Samperi, will release its remix EP soon on vinyl.
All above the DJs and live acts, a burlesque dance show, as well as a special guest will elevate the mood of the night.

Our offer
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
Singspiel in two acts, in Hungarian, with Hungarian and English surtitles
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
