A magyar filmtörténet klasszikussá vált vígjátékából született színpadi remekműve, mely kétszer egy órában rendületlenül kacagásra készteti a nézőt.
A kispolgári milliő még csak nem is nagypolgári, hanem arisztokrata allűrökkel: örök vígjátéki téma. Hyppolit a bölcs és ironikus lakáj figurája világít rá, hogy rangtól és származástól függetlenül minden ember egyformán szerethető.

There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
