Fiai követik az úton, inspirációs forrásként tekintenek rá, és közben saját világot alkotnak maguknak. Oláh Krisztián, aki szintén zongorista, az egyik legkeresettebb csapattag a jazz útkereső irányzatait képviselő együttesekben, saját kvartettjében pedig szaxofonos öccse, ifj. Oláh Kálmán is alappillér. Mindketten jeleskednek a zeneszerzésben is. Ritkán hallhatók hárman egy színpadon. “I've captured a terrific storm of elements and of hearts which gradually calms to Brünnhilde's magic sleep,” Wagner on the score of Die Walküre, in a letter to Ferenc Liszt.
