1912. április 5-én jött világra az író, akinek a „Hozott szalonnával egérirtást vállal doktor Varsányiné” és a „Háromba vágtad, édes jó Lajosom?” mondatait is köszönhetjük. Maga vetette papírra: „újszülöttként talán elértem a tökéletességet, de aztán csak koptam”. A műsor írások sorával bizonyítja, hogy azért a későbbi idő sem telt hiába.
