Egyikük a jelen karácsonya, melyet magányosan tölt egy idős férfi, a másikat, a múltbéli karácsonyt pedig az ő szeretetteljes emlékezete idézi meg. Így éli meg újra édesanyjával és ifjúkori önmagával a szeretet ünnepét és válik segítőjévé az idegenbe szakadt fiatalembernek, hogy a világ rohanásában egy pillanatra megálljon és visszataláljon gyermekkorához, édesanyjához, önmagához...
A kiváló művészek – Bencze Ilona, Benkő Péter/Bregyán Péter és Sövegjártó Áron – előadásában többek között Ady Endre, József Attila, Weöres Sándor, Juhász Gyula versei, valamint csodálatos karácsonyi melódiák is megszólalnak az igényes, szemet gyönyörködtető díszletek között.

Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
