Brunhilde Pomsel 1933-ban lépett be a Nemzetiszocialista Pártba. Nem elvi meggyőződésből, kizárólag a karrierje érdekében. A Propagandaminisztériumhoz került, Joseph Goebbels titkárnője lett. A deportálásokból semmit sem látott. Nem tudott a koncentrációs tárborokról. Arról sem, hogy a Propagandaminisztérium meghamisítja a híreket. Goebbels szövegeit gépelte ugyan, de érteni nem értette. „Jelentéktelen kis pontnak” látta magát, aki, ha akart volna, akkor sem tudott volna szembeszállni a hatalommal. Nem érzi magát bűnösnek.

János Hunyadi is responsible for the tolling of bells around the world; Mátyás Hunyadi is the hero of a string of folk tales; László Hunyadi inspired “only” an opera.
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
