Cervantes időtlenné vált búsképű lovagja, Richard Strauss zenei költeményén keresztül kel életre. A zenei ábrázoláson túl az expresszív tánc pantomim világán keresztül követhetjük Don Quixote látomásait, és mai korunk világában szintén felelhető hasonmásait és a digitális világgal szemben „szélmalomharcot” vívó alakok komikus küzdelmét. A színpadi ábrázolás a tudathasadás víziója, amiben az IQ elhomályosul és tagadja a valóságot, nincs benne belátás. Így születik meg M. Kecskés András előadásában a drámai groteszk.

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
