De jó is az, amikor dől a lé! Ilyesmi persze Henry Perkins kishivatalnok életében még soha nem fordult elő. Sőt! Valószínűleg, soha nem is fog! Ám egy szép napon kinyitva a táskáját nem a szokásos sajtos- fűszervajas szendvicset találja benne, hanem egy vagyont készpénzben!
Csupa használt bankjegy! Ki az akiből nem bújna ki azonnal az ördög ilyen lehetőség birtokában? Megszervezi hát villámgyorsan új életét! Ám azt még nem tudja, hogy ebbe a tervbe azért bele fog szólni a maffia, a rendőrség, a korrupt hivatalnokok és haszonleső barátok, rokonok tömege! Menekülés a pénzért, a pénztől hazugságok labirintusán át. Mi pedig a nézőtéren megszakadunk a röhögéstől a végkifejletig, mert lassan már a szereplők sem tudják, igazán ki kicsoda? És melyik táskában rejtőzik a vagyon? A bohózat viszont nem lenne bohózat, ha a zseniális író nem találna kacagtató megoldást a darab végére...
