Dogville
A színház idei évadának igazi kuriózuma a dogmafilmes, Lars von Trier: DOGVILLE c. forgatókönyve alapján színpadra állított előadás. A darab rendezője Anger Zsolt, akit a nemrég bemutatott Gigor Attila: A Nyomozó c. film főszerepében láthattunk és amellyel a 39. Filmszemle Legjobb férfi alakítása c. díjat nyerte el. Trier 2003-ban forgatta a Dogville-t, Nicole Kidman-el Grace szerepében. A Bárka Dogville történetét meséli el, de az itt és most-ra helyezi a hangsúlyt.

A földre szállt angyal jelenik meg egy nap egy ház életében. Angelika – mert ez a neve – menekül egy férfi elől, és a lakóközösség befogadja a lányt. Egyöntetűen – hiszen ez egy jó közösség. És ez jó lehetőség a bizonyításra. Angelika felajánlja, hogy a hajlékért cserében dolgozni fog – de úgy tűnik, senkinek sincs szüksége a segítségre. Aztán mégis akad egy kis rendcsinálás a kert végében, egy kis gombasavanyítás, egy kis gyerekfelvigyázás. A sok jó ember befogadja Angelikát, ám kiderül, hogy a lányt körözi a rendőrség. A Bárka Színház előadásában a hétköznapi pokol járja a maga haláltáncát, amelyben az őszintén mosolygó álarcok mögötti lélek nélküli élőhalottak birodalmába nyerünk bebocsáttatást.

A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
Henry Purcell’s epic masterpiece, Dido and Aeneas has to do with the Trojan War. But what is even more important than the historical background of this hour-long little gem is love – as Dóra Barta, the director of the production highlights it, “Humanity has long known that if there is something you can die of, Love is certainly such a thing.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
