A Diótörő az egyik legszebb karácsonyi mese. A történet táncos változatában számos különleges meglepetés várja a nézőket, hiszen a színpadon most minden varázslatos életre kel: a karácsony este csillogó csodavilága, a hólepte téli táj, a megelevenedő és táncra perdülő bábuk, s végül szélesre tárja kapuit még az édességek birodalma is. Ez a látványos, érzelmes és szórakoztató színpadi mese egy kislány és egy diótörő báb csodálatos találkozásáról és közös kalandjáról szól, amely egy békés családi otthon karácsonyestéjétől vezet izgalmakkal teli úton a hópelyhektől ragyogó téli világon át egyenesen a fantázia és az álmok birodalmába.

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
