1964-ben alapította testvérével, Demjén Istvánnal a Számum együttest, majd a Dogs, a Liversing, a Meteor, a Sakk-Matt és a Tűzkerék együttesekben énekelt és gitározott. 1970-től a Bergendy zenekar tagja. Szövegíróként a Jöjj vissza, vándor című dallal debütált, melyet további slágerek követtek. 1977 őszén megalakult a V’Moto-Rock együttes. Szöveget írt többek között a Szerelem első vérig, a Moziklip, valamint a Honfoglalás című nagy sikerű filmek betétdalaihoz, amelyeket részben ő is adott elő. 1990 után szóló karrierbe kezdett. 2012-ben Kossuth-díjjal tüntették ki.

There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
