Csurka István
Deficit
„A több mint fél évszázados pályám egyik legnagyobb sikere Csurka István Deficitjének X-e.
A Vígszínház tagjaként Horvai István rendezésében mutattuk be a Pesti Színházban 1979
őszén. Ez volt a darab ősbemutatója. Azt hiszem, aláhúzza a produkció kiemelkedő sikerét,
hogy 387 alkalommal játszottuk zsúfolt teltház előtt nyolc szezonon keresztül. Bár színész-
rendezőként nagyon sok produkciót rendeztem, meghatározó szakmai esemény számomra,
hogy a Zentai Magyar Kamaraszínházban négy kiváló színésszel Csurka remekművét
színpadra állíthatom.” (Szilágyi Tibor gondolatai)
