Operaénekesi pályafutását Bécsben kezdte, éveket töltött a stockholmi operaházban, s fellépett New Yorkban csakúgy, mint Párizsban vagy épp Tbilisziben. Opera- és dalénekesi repertoárján nem csupán egymástól több évszázadnyi távolságban keletkezett s a legkülönbözőbb stílusokat képviselő művek és szerepek férnek meg, de egyszersmind egy sereg különböző nyelv is, hiszen Csordás Klára a magyar mellett angolul, németül, franciául, svédül és olaszul is kitűnően beszél, s ha ez még nem lenne elegendő, hát orosz, spanyol, lengyel és norvég nyelven is énekel. Mindezek ismeretében már nem meglepő, ám persze így is bámulatra méltó az a koncertprogram, amelyen Monteverdi, Purcell, Donizetti, de Benjamin Britten, Kurt Weill és George Gershwin vokális alkotásait is ott leljük. A Párizsban élő énekesnőt a szintén a francia fővárosban megtelepedett (s barokk és kortárs zenét szintúgy játszó) amerikai csembaló- és zongoraművész, Jory Vinikour kíséri majd.
