Vörösmarty Mihály Csongor és Tündéje egy ifjú költő drámája, a lázadó fiatalok megalkuvást nem ismerő igazságkeresésével megírt remekmű. Keményen fogalmaz, nagyon éles élethelyzetekről: barátságról, szerelemről, testi vágyról, árulásról, hűségről, megcsalásról, szakításról, kiábrándultságról, életundorról, halálvágyról, megnyugvásról, elfogadásról, boldogságról.

Ezek a szituációk a társukat kereső fiatalok meghatározó élményei. Még a legszimbolikusabb elemekben is mélyen ismerős életérzésekre ismerhet egy világot faggató fiatalember. Húsbavágó problémákról, krízisekről szól páratlan színpadi és nyelvi költészettel és ellenállhatatlan humorral.
A Csongor és Tünde sodró cselekményű dráma; az erősen húzott, de át nem írt szöveget egy lendülettel, szünet nélkül, másfél órában játsszák el. Az előadásban huszonéves színészek, Csongor és Tünde kortársai, szembesülnek a felnőttvilágot megtestesítő Miriggyel, Éj asszonyával.
Az előadást igény szerint követheti beavató színházi beszélgetés.

The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
