A klasszikus mese vásári bábjátékos formába öntve. A szegény molnárfiú és a szép királylány szerelme, a gonosz óriás legyőzése és persze egy beszélő kandúr okos cselszövése, teszi izgalmassá a mesét, amiben a gyerekek aktív közreműködésére is szükség lehet. A díszletek és a bábok a népi hagyományok mai formáit tükrözik. Népdalok és népi hangszerek színesítik az előadást.
Interaktív bábos játék a gyerekek közreműködésével talál egymásra a molnárlegény és a királykisasszony. Persze egy címszereplő macskának is lesz beleszólása az eseményekbe.
