Két héttel ezelőtt elhagyta a menyasszonya, pontosabban épp két hét gondolkodási időt adott neki, hogy megválaszolja a nagy kérdést: „Mit akar a nő?…
A két hét leteltével, menyasszonya telefonhívására várva, a hiúságában sértett Sanyi elkeseredetten összegzi tépelődéseinek eredményét, és a „stand-up comedy” elemeit is ötvöző fergeteges előadásban idézi fel a nőkkel kapcsolatos emlékeit és tapasztalatait. Eközben a gondolkodását formáló más hímsoviniszta férfiak alteregóit is magára ölti, vagyis bár egyszemélyes színdarabot látunk, mégis hat férfitípus elevenedik mega színpadon, akik tanácsaikkal és történeteikkel inkább összezavarják Sanyit, semmint segítik abban, hogy a fenti, nagy kérdésre megtalálja a választ. Hogy ez végül sikerül-e neki, egyelőre maradjon titok!

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
