Idén októberben tölti be 75. évét Charlie, a többszörös EMeRTon-díjas művész, akinek munkásságát többek között Arany Zsiráf-díjjal, Liszt Ferenc-díjjal, a Magyar Köztársasági Érdemrend kiskeresztjével és Budapest díszpolgára címmel ismerték el.

Charlie zenész, trombitás: a rock, a jazz, a blues, a soul és a funky jellegzetesen rekedt hangú előadóművésze. Pályafutása során több formációban alkotott, számtalan albumot tudhat magáénak.
Legutolsó albuma, Mindenen túl címmel 2020-ban jelent meg.
Ebből a jubileumi alakalomból indul útjára a turné, amely tartalmát tekintve egyfajta összegzése annak az életműnek, amellyel évtizedek óta elkápráztatja nem csak legszűkebb – igencsak népes – rajongótáborát, hanem mindenkit, aki az igényes zenét szereti.
Igazából, ha minden kedvenc dalát szeretnénk hallani, akkor minimum 3 különböző koncertet kellene tartani, de egy dal akkor is elhangzana mindegyiken:

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
