Charlie zenész, trombitás: a rock, a jazz, a blues, a soul és a funky jellegzetesen rekedt hangú előadóművésze. Pályafutása során több formációban alkotott, számtalan albumot tudhat magáénak. Legutolsó albuma, Mindenen túl címmel 2020-ban jelent meg. Ebből a jubileumi alakalomból indul útjára a turné, amely tartalmát tekintve egyfajta összegzése annak az életműnek, amellyel évtizedek óta elkápráztatja nem csak legszűkebb – igencsak népes – rajongótáborát, hanem mindenkit, aki az igényes zenét szereti. Igazából, ha minden kedvenc dalát szeretnénk hallani, akkor minimum 3 különböző koncertet kellene tartani, de egy dal akkor is elhangzana mindegyiken: Mindenen túl…
