Carl Orff monumentális zenei mesterműve 2000-ben kelt életre a Szegedi Kortárs Balett látványos táncszínházi adaptációjaként. Juronics Tamás ikonikus koreográfiája immár 23 éve egyike a hazai kortárs táncszcéna legkiemelkedőbb alkotásainak, amely itthon, Európa-szerte, és a tengerentúlon is nézők ezreit vonzza; számos közönség és szakmai díjat hozott a társulatnak. A Carmina Burana szemléletesen ragadja meg egy képzeletbeli barbár közösség közös félelmeit és örömeit, miközben a saját túléléséért és emberiségéért folytat küzdelmet.

Our offer
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
