Az operairodalom talán legnépszerűbb alkotása, amely a legtöbb híres áriát adta a világnak. A francia zeneszerző Georges Bizet életművének legkiemelkedőbb darabja ez az opera, melynek szövegkönyve Prosper Merimée kisregénye alapján készült. Olyan áriákat hallhat majd a közönség, mint a Torreádor-dal, Don José Virág-dala vagy a legnépszerűbb: a szenvedélyes cigánylány, Carmen által énekelt Habanera.
