Caramel Óévbúcsúztató koncertje
Molnár Ferenc Caramel 2005-ben került a zenei köztudatba, közel 20 év elteltével a hazai zenei és közélet kiemelkedő szereplője lett. Eddig 7 nagylemeze jelent meg, öt teltházas koncertet adott a Papp László Budapest Sportarénában, szerzett musicalt ’Mesterkód’ címmel, amit 2022-ben szintén az Arénában mutattak be, az ország legszínvonalasabb színházainak, helyszíneinek visszatérő vendége. Facebook rajongótábora 400,000 feletti, szerzeményeit 100 milliónál többször látták-hallották YouTube-on és más internetes felületeken. Négyszer tüntették ki Fonogram-díjjal (legutóbb idén), 2018-ben pedig elsőként kapta meg az újonnan alapított Máté Péter-díjat a könnyűzene területén végzett kiemelkedő munkásságáért. This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
