A Budafoki Dohnányi Zenekar Magyarország egyik legfiatalabb hivatásos zenekara, mind az együttes, mind pedig a zenekari tagok korát tekintve. A fenntartó Budafok-Tétény Budapest XXII. Kerület Önkormányzata jóvoltából 1993. óta hivatásos együttes – melynek zeneigazgató-karmestere Hollerung Gábor Liszt-díjas karnagy – rövid idő alatt előkelő helyet vívott ki magának a magyar zenei életben, az elmúlt években hatalmas sikerrel szerepelt itthon és külföldön egyaránt.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
The World of Ballet Remembers a Hungarian Legend 2014 saw the sudden passing of the international ballet artist and ballet director Iván Nagy. After his retirement, he had returned to serve his country by working as head artistic consultant for the Hungarian State Opera.
