Az amerikai Paul Schoenfield (Vajda János kortársa) koncertzongoristaként kezdte pályáját (Sergio Lucca partnereként emlékezetes koncerteken lépett fel Bartók hegedű–zongora műveivel), Four Parables című, 1983-as kompozíciója pedig valójában zongoraverseny: a 20. század végi repertoár egyik legszórakoztatóbb darabja, tele jazzes, ritmikus, jellegzetesen amerikai elemmel. A mű vezérszólamát Oravecz György, nemzedékének egyik legizgalmasabb zongoristaegyénisége fogja eljátszani a Budafoki Dohányi Zenekar partnereként, Hollerung Gábor vezényletével.
