Beethoven bécsi karrierjében is igazi mérföldkő volt az Esz-dúr szeptett, együtt mutatta be az első szimfóniával és az első zongoraversennyel 1800-ban egy császári megrendelésre szervezett nyilvános koncerten. Ezúttal a Zeneakadémia Solti termében csendül fel a mű a fesztiválalapító-művészeti vezetők, Kelemen Barnabás (hegedű) és Kokas Katalin (brácsa), valamint zenésztársaik, Kokas Dóra (cselló) , Fejérvári Zsolt (nagybőgő), Matthew Hunt (klarinét), Bankócs Tamás (fagott) és José Vincente Castello (kürt) előadásában. A koncert második felében Brahms Kürt triója hangzik – amelyet a szerző 1865-ben, édesanyjának halálára írt – Tatiana Samouil (hegedű), José Vincente Castello (kürt) és Maria Meerivich (zongora) előadásában.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
