Miután idehaza szinte mindenkivel játszott jazz-, rock-, pop- és világzenei produkciókban mint az egyik legkeresettebb dobos, Arany Dobverő- és Artisjus-díjat kapott, három szólólemezt jelentetett meg és kétszázötven másikon működött közre, elindult szerencsét próbálni. Barcelonában kötött ki, ahol a Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu jazz tanszékének tanára lett, valamint újabb zenei együttműködések vártak rá, európai, amerikai és ázsiai dobfesztiválokra kapott meghívást, vezető hangszermárkák képviselőjévé választották, illetve doboktató applikációt készítettek vele, mely felületen Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilly Peppers), Steve Gadd (Eric Clapton, Paul Simon), Steve Smith (Journey) és Mike Mangini (Dream Theater) mellé sorakozott fel. Frank Zappa egykori dobosa, Terry Bozzio 2013-as európai szólóturnéjának egyetlen vendégművészeként szerepelt.
Jazzműhelyébe ez alkalommal olyan muzsikustársakat hívott, akik lehetővé teszik számára, hogy a meglepetés erejével ható produkciót tárjon rajongói elé. A vietnami származású, Párizsban élő Nguyên Lê a szűk öt évvel ezelőtti Divided Concerten már dolgozott magyar kollégájával, de akik ott nem lehettek jelen, azok is jól ismerhetik az avantgárdtól a world fusionig terjedő produkcióit, köztük Jimi Hendrix Projectjét. Eivind Aarset a norvég úttörő jazz ünnepelt alakja, aki a 2014-es Jazztavaszon saját "elektronmeghajtású" zenekarával aratott óriási sikert. Gustaf Hielm Stockholmból érkezik, és már nem csak hazájában számítanak alappillérként egyéni basszusgitárjátékára a jazztől a metálig mindenféle zenében.

A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
