Kornélia bohócként dolgozik tovább a vándortársulatban. Kezdeti ódzkodása hamar elmúlik, amikor rájön, hogy csetlő-botló figuraként a publikum épp annyira kedveli őt, mint akrobataként. Talán még jobban is! Kornéliából így lesz tehát Nellike. Aztán egy szép napon a Cirkusz Minibusz direktora új bohócot vesz fel Nellike mellé. Bollár Kótyag érkezése fenekestül forgatja fel Nellike – és így a vándortársulat életét is.

The tale of Leander the goblin and Princess Linseed, brimming with magic and a seemingly unbreakable curse, not to mention a wealth of twists and turns, is a genuinely good yarn. Set to a libretto by Barnabás Szöllősi that is based on Andor Szilágyi's fable for the theatre and written at the OPERA's request in the 2014/15 season, Erkel Prize-winning composer Zsófia Tallér's masterful, expressive and entertaining music makes this Hungarian fairy tale opera an enjoyable experience for children and adults alike, and, we hope, a possible future classic.
Pairing the two German composers, Wagner and the Wagnerian Strauss in a single evening creates a sweeping and overwhelming fusion of expansive melodies and driving dramatic force. The encounter between Wagner’s mythical intensity and Strauss’s modernism is a dialogue between two musical giants who reshaped not only German but also international musical life. In the performance of the OPERA Orchestra, their compositions promise deep emotions, dense musical textures, and sonic grandeur.
