Mihail Bulgakov Bíborsziget című darabjában a jövőjéért küzdő színházi társulat a Jules Verne álnéven publikáló, fiatal drámaíró Bíborsziget című darabjára vár. A mindenható főcenzor egy nap múlva nyaralni megy, és ha előtte nem engedélyezi az előadást, a színház csődbe mehet. A szerző megérkezik opusával, amely egy lakatlan szigeten játszódik, tele tömegjelenetekkel, de idő már csak a főpróbára marad. A finálé előtt betoppan a cenzor, hogy meghozza döntését.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
János Hunyadi is responsible for the tolling of bells around the world; Mátyás Hunyadi is the hero of a string of folk tales; László Hunyadi inspired “only” an opera.
