A talányos műfajelnevezések utánozhatatlan mestere, Richard Strauss zenés társalgási darabnak, máshol pedig színházi fúgának nevezte utolsó operáját, a Capricciót. A Budapesti Vonósok hangversenye a mű rokokó korszakot idéző nyitányával kezdődik. A folytatásban Mendelssohn sok-sok meglepetést tartogató „nulladik” zongoraversenyét a Londonban tanuló Berecz Mihály tolmácsolja. S hogy a darab hallatán milyen történet jut majd eszébe édesapjának, az ének- és mesemondó Berecz Andrásnak, természetesen titok.
