Beethoven V. szimfóniájának kezdő hangjaiban a sors pörölycsapásai hangzanak fel, ám lehetne e négy hang a citromsármány éneke, háborús idők győzelmi himnusza, vagy akár egy Cherubini korál variációja. Beethoven e művének első négy hangját rengetegféleképpen érzékelték, értelmezték és magyarázták. A legismertebb szimfonikus kivetülése ez annak, ahogyan a dúr hangnem árasztotta ragyogó fény győzelmet arat a mollal kifejezően ábrázolt sötétség felett.
Már évek óta szerettem volna koreográfiát készíteni erre a zeneműre, de eddig nem volt világos számomra a valódi üzenete. Nem csak a világszerte ismert első tételére gondolok, de a további három, kevésbé népszerű, ám szintén hihetetlenül erős tételre is.
Ebben az évben ünnepeljük Beethoven születésének 250. évfordulóját, és napjainkban hasonlóan forradalmi időket élünk, mint a mester, amikor ezt a darabot 1804 és 1808 között megalkotta. Jelen korunknak is az ad reménységet, hogy a fény győzedelmeskedik a sötétség felett. Ez késztet arra, hogy a GG Tánc Eger számára készítendő új munkámmal is kifejezzem az életbe vetett hitemet.

There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
