Egy apartman New York-ban, benne két férfi, Lewis, a jó nevű író, és a barátja, Nick. Annak idején mindketten ugyanazt a nőt vették feleségül, csakhogy a gyönyörű, dúsgazdag Amélia, akinek portréja ott lóg a kandalló felett, faképnél hagyta őket, és a férfiak azóta vigasztalhatatlanok. A két jó barát megegyezik: lelki békéjük érdekében Améliát el kell tenni láb alól, mégpedig Valentin napon! Valentin-napi mészárlás? Ha nem szeretnél egy jót nevetni, akkor ne gyere. De, ha igen!? Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
