Talán túlzás nélkül állítható, hogy minden adott tehát egy helyzetkomikumokban bővelkedő fergeteges vígjátékhoz, amely a hatvanas években a nagyszerű komédiák egyik „őshazájából”, Franciaországból indult el világkörüli útjára, meghódította a Broadway-t is, s egy nagysikerű film – amelyben olyan nagyságok szerepeltek, mint Walter Matthau, Ingrid Bergman vagy Goldie Hawn – forgatókönyvének alapjául is szolgált.
Hazánkban az elmúlt évtizedekben is több színház tűzte sikerrel műsorára a darabot, amelynek legújabb premierjére 2013. nyarán került sor a Bánfalvy Stúdió előadásában.
Nádas Gábor zenéjét és Szenes Iván halhatatlan dalszövegeit élő zenekar kelti életre neves közreműködők részvételével.
A premier a Budapesti Nyári Fesztivál keretében a Városmajori Szabadtéri Színpadon került bemutatásra.

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
