Baráti Kristóf Venezuelában nevelkedett, nyolc évesen adta első zenekari kíséretes koncertjét, majd a Zeneakadémia után Párizsban tanult. Itthon rendszeresen közösen lép fel a Nemzeti Filharmonikusokkal, a Budapesti Fesztiválzenekarral és a MÁV Szimfonikusokkal. Kocsis Zoltán így ír Baráti Kristófról: „Mind virtuozitásának, mind pedig a zenekarral létrehozott nagyszerű összhangnak köszönhetően kitűnő szólistának tartom.”
Baráti Kristóf és Würtz Klára Beethoven tíz hegedű-zongora szonátájából három éve készült lemezfelvétele óriási nemzetközi sikert aratott. A kritikusok felsőfokban írtak a két művész tökéletes összhangjáról, pazar technikájáról, mély zeneiségéről. A Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung egyenesen minden idők legjobb Beethoven szonátafelvételéről beszélt. Azóta a két nagyszerű muzsikus együttműködését felfokozott érdeklődés és várakozás kíséri. Tavaly Brahms szonátáit játszották lemezre - ismét óriási sikert aratva -, 2014 nyarán pedig a pécsi Kodály Központban azt a három francia hegedű-zongora szonátát, amelyet egyfajta előzetes lemezbemutatóként a mostani hangverseny közönsége hallhat először élőben.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
