Az ellentétek vonzzák egymást. Erdélyben ezt úgy kell érteni, hogy az egyik ellentét vonzza a másikat. Mert nem elég, hogy a falu első embere és a rivális polgármesterjelölt között torokszorító harc folyik (és ezt most szó szerint kell érteni, vagyis egyikük néha megszorongatja a másik torkát), hanem még egy rendőr is érkezik a városból (aki, ugye, román), hogy leleplezze az egyik polgármesterjelölt üzelmeit, de közben fényt derít olyan dolgokra is, amelyeknek rejtve kellett volna maradniuk. Vagy fordítva: nem elég, hogy van ez a román-magyar ellentét, még a két magyar polgármesterjelölt is egymásnak esik. Nem elég, egyeseknek semmi nem elég.
