Balázs Béla történetében a két fiatal szerelme nagyon komoly küzdelmek árán tud csak beteljesedni. A Tündér varázslatával a Természet erői állják útjukat, hogy mindaddig ne lehessenek egymáséi, míg meg nem tisztultak a sok talmi külsőségtől, azoktól melyek eltakarják igazi értékeiket. Bartók zenéje emeli filozófikus szintre ezt a tanulságos mesét, melyben a fájdalmas önmagunkba nézés útján juthatunk el a legtisztább szerelem eszményéhez.

Our offer
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
Bartók Béla’s two highly influential stage works explore the dynamics of the relationship between man and woman and the deeper layers of their personalities, as presented by creators who, through a fusion of tradition and innovation, reveal the possibilities inherent in these works for 21st-century audiences.
