A most tizennyolc éves, Junior Príma díjas Balázs-Piri Soma nyolc évesen kezdett zongorázni.Kezdettől fogva Sóti Szobonya Emőke a tanára, mentora Bogányi Gergely Kossuth- és Liszt Ferenc-díjas zongoraművész.
Soma számos nemzetközi és országos zongoraverseny első díját nyerte el, mint például a Bartók Béla Zongoraverseny Nagydíját.
2018-ban a „Virtuózok” komolyzenei televíziós tehetségkutató verseny korcsoportos győztese lett.
2020-ban a Magyar Klasszikus Zene Ifjú Nagykövetének választották.
Először kilenc évesen játszott szólistaként a Szegedi Szimfonikus Zenekarral, azóta számos alkalommal volt lehetősége itthoni és külföldi zenekarokkal dolgozni: vezényelte többek között Hollerung Gábor, Maestro Placido Domingo, Medveczky Ádám, Eugene Kohn, Howard Shelley. Felléphetett Magyarország legjelentősebb koncerthelyszínein, de koncertezett külföldön is: New Yorkban, Londonban, Dohában, Strasbourgban, legutóbb az Expo 2020 Dubai nagyszínpadán.
Baráti és szakmai kapcsolatot ápol a világhírű Maestro Placiod Domingo operaénekessel, aki Soma elkötelezett támogatója lett: Soma kétszer léphetett fel a Maestro koncertjén és közös lemezfelvételt is készítettek 2020-ban, Grieg a-moll zongoraversenyét vették fel a Magyar Állami Operaház Zenekarával, Maestro Placido Domingo vezényletével.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
