Az egyik legsokoldalúbb magyar szaxofonos Bacsó Kristóf szintén többször fellépett már az elmúlt években a Pécsen, azonban – a pécsi közönség által jól ismert – Oláh Kálmánnal létrehozott quartetjét most hallhatja először a közönség a Fonó színpadán.

A quartet repertoárja főként Bacsó és Oláh kompozícióiból áll, melyek a mainstream jazz, a magyar népzenei örökség és a kortárs klasszikus zene stíluselemeit is rendkívül avatott módon, új minőséget létrehozva illeszti egyedi zenei koncepcióba. Nagybőgőn az ország egyik legkeresetteb muzsikusa Barcza Horváth játszik, dobokon a kiváló fiatal tehetség Gyárfás Attila működik közre.

Bacsó legutóbbi albuma Pannon Blue címmel jelent meg a BMC Records kiadásában, amely 2017-ben elnyerte a Gramofon magazin „Az év magyar jazzlemeze” díját. Részben erről a lemezről is hallhat darabokat a Metronóm Klub közönsége május 23-án, mely felejthetetlen koncertnek ígérkezik a klub éves programjában.

Our offer

“I've captured a terrific storm of elements and of hearts which gradually calms to Brünnhilde's magic sleep,” Wagner on the score of Die Walküre, in a letter to Ferenc Liszt. Following on the heels of the introductory Das Rheingold, this opera about the tragic love between two of Wotan's children constitutes the start of the more tightly drawn dramatic trilogy. Once again, the laws of the gods clash: can paternal love save a lad who has violated the sanctity of marriage?

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.

Based on Ádám Jenő's work by the same title HUNGARIAN CHRISTMAS Singspiel in two tableaux, in Hungarian
