A darab középpontjában a világhírű pszichoanalitikus, Sigmund Freud áll. Londoni otthonába látogatóba érkezik egy kevésbé híres fiatal professzor, Clive Staples Lewis, aki korábbi könyvében nevetségessé tette az idős lélekbúvárt. Két szakember. Az egyik legenda. A másik talán lesz. Fiatal és idős. Két generáció. Két felelős értelmiségi egy nehéz, fájdalmas és zűrzavaros történelmi pillanatban. Nehéz és fájdalmas helyzetekben. Találkoznak és beszélnek egymással. Beszélgetnek. A világról és az életről, tettekről és ideákról. Arról, hogy mi az, hogy "felelős értelmiség". A két ember diskurzusa éppen aznap veszi kezdetét, amikor Anglia belép a második világháborúba. Aztán valaki meghal. És marad a beszélgetés. Az él tovább.

Bartók Béla’s two highly influential stage works explore the dynamics of the relationship between man and woman and the deeper layers of their personalities, as presented by creators who, through a fusion of tradition and innovation, reveal the possibilities inherent in these works for 21st-century audiences.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
