A történet egy kis oroszlán kölyökkoráról és felnőtté válásáról szól. Egy napon gonosz nagybátyja, Scar egy szurdokba csalja Szimbát és játszópajtását Nilát, mert tudja, hogy arra fog vágtatni egy gnú csorda. Mufasa, fia segítségére siet. Bár Szimbát megmenti, ő maga áldozattá válik. Scar elhiteti a kiskölyökkel, hogy ő a tragédia okozója és azt tanácsolja Neki, hogy fusson el és soha többé ne térjen vissza. Szimba menekülés közben találkozik össze a két hihetetlenül bájos figurával, a varacskos disznóval és barátjával, akikkel együtt nőnek fel. Nila megkeresi Szimbát, megérteti Vele, hogy a trón csakis őt illeti meg, és nem felelős apja haláláért.

For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
