Az öldöklés istene

Az öldöklés istene

A világhírű magyar származású francia írónő új, metsző humorú vígjátéka nyugodt, kifinomult társalgással kezdődik. Két házaspár kulturáltan próbál rendezni egy kínos ügyet, miszerint egyikük gyermeke kiverte a másik pár gyermekének két fogát. Ám a békés beszélgetés elfajul, elszabadul a pokol, és "az öldöklés istene" mindent a feje tetejére állít.

Ritkán találkozik az ember ilyen kegyetlenül szórakoztató színdarabbal, amely bravúros játéklehetőséget kínál a színészeknek. Az öldöklés istene 2009-ben minden jelentős írói díjat elnyert, így a legjobb új darabnak járó Laurence Olivier-díjat és a tekintélyes Tony-díjat is. Magyarországon először a Vígszínház közönsége láthatja, Kamondi Zoltán rendezésében.

Georges Bizet CARMEN Opera in four acts, in French, with Hungarian, English, and French subtitles

The tale of Leander the goblin and Princess Linseed, brimming with magic and a seemingly unbreakable curse, not to mention a wealth of twists and turns, is a genuinely good yarn. Set to a libretto by Barnabás Szöllősi that is based on Andor Szilágyi's fable for the theatre and written at the OPERA's request in the 2014/15 season, Erkel Prize-winning composer Zsófia Tallér's masterful, expressive and entertaining music makes this Hungarian fairy tale opera an enjoyable experience for children and adults alike, and, we hope, a possible future classic.
