Karol Wojtyla, azaz ismertebb nevén II. János Pál a történelem egyik legismertebb és legkedveltebb pápája volt. Azt talán kevesebben tudják róla, hogy rajongott a színházért; ifjúkorában ő maga is amatőr színjátszó volt, és élete során számos szépirodalmi művet - köztük színdarabokat is - írt. Igaz, szépirodalmi alkotásait - szemben vallásos tárgyú írásaival - nem saját neve alatt jelentette meg; több művésznevet is használt. Az 1960-ban íródott Az aranyműves boltja c. művét például Andrzej Jawień néven jegyezte.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
