Szabó Magda Kossuth-díjas írónő mitológiai személyiséggé növesztett sepregető öregasszonyának története igazi világsiker: 34 nyelvre fordították le.
A tervezett szereposztás:
Kútvölgyi Erzsébet, Nagyváradi Erzsébet, Jantyik Csaba, Kolti Helga, Dózsa László.
Molnár Anna, a neves írónő és professzor férje Budára költözik. Ahhoz, hogy mindketten hivatásuknak élhessenek, szükségük van egy megbízható házvezetőnőre. A szomszédok és ismerősök a szemközti ház lakóját, egy kemény, dolgos, köztiszteletnek örvendő, ám egyben rettegett hírű asszonyt, Szeredás Emerencet ajánlják. Emerenc a vastag, bezárt ajtó mögött él: se gyereke, se férje, csak unokaöccse és egy rendőrtiszt látogatja rendszeresen...
Molnár Anna előtt feltárul az ajtó, mely mögött Emerenc védi magányát és tehetetlen nyomorúságát. A két asszony ismerkedéséről, bátortalan közeledéséről, egymásra utaltságáról és fokozatosan szeretetté alakuló kapcsolatáról szól a mű, melyre mindvégig rányomja bélyegét a közelmúlt történelme és az emberi méltóság tisztelete...

Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
