Norman Thayer nyugalmazott egyetemi tanár és felesége, Ethel fiatal koruk óta minden nyarat az Aranytónál töltenek. Morognak, ugratják, de ugyanúgy szeretik egymást, mint a kezdet kezdetén – vagyis kezdődik a boldog nyaralás. Az idei mégis más, mint az eddigiek: a régi hűséges bútorok és használati tárgyak mellett mást is rendbe kell tenniük maguk körül. Mert a lányuk nem véletlenül nem járt náluk már évek óta. És amikor megérkezik, meglepetés-vendéget is hoz magával…
A humorral átszőtt mélyen emberi történetet filmen Henry Fonda és Katherine Hepburn, magyar színpadon pedig Mensáros László és Tolnay Klári tette emlékezetessé.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
