A történet két testvérről szól, akiknek húgát elrabolta a Holdban élő télboszorkány. A fivéreknek el kell jutniuk a Holdra, hogy kiszabadítsák testvérüket. Kalandjaik során különféle varázslatos lényekkel kell felvenniük a harcot. Az úton a számi mondavilág óriásaival, szirénjeivel, öregasszonyaival találkoznak.
A társulat az előadás alapjául egy Lappföldről származó számi népmesét választott. Főhőseik karakterét a számi mese-, és mondavilágban található hősök tanulmányozásával építették fel.
Az előadás formanyelve a tánc, zene, ritmus és tárgy-animáció. Az előadásban felcsendülő dalok, eredeti számi nyelven íródott zenék, költemények. A ritmusokat, ütőhangszereken játszott dramatikus zenei betéteket Mogyoró Kornél ütőhangszeres komponálta. A mese látványvilágát a Lappföld végtelenbe nyúló tájai inspirálták.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
