A Litera előszilveszterén, mely két év kihagyás után végre újra élőben jelentkezik, és egyben az irodalmi portál 20. születésnapja is, erről mesélnek a szerzők abban a hitben, hogy – amint Susan Sontag 1993-ban gyertyafényben mutatta be a Godot-ra várva előadást az ostrom alatt álló Szarajevóban – a legsötétebb órákban is van remény. Mehr Licht! – mondta Goethe a halálos ágyán. Több fényt! – kívánjuk mi is az év utolsó előtti napján.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
