Párhuzamos történetek, melyek a mélyben összefüggnek. Sorsok, melyek alapvetően meghatározzák egymást. Az 1920-as évek elején a nyolcéves Károly és a négyéves Anna szüleit szinte egyszerre viszi el a spanyolnátha, a gyerekek pedig árvaházba kerülnek. Fél évszázaddal később ugyanebben a családban az ötéves Eszter szokatlanul meghitt kapcsolatot alakít ki a nagyapjával. Úgy érzi, csak Tatusra számíthat, aki mindennél jobban szereti unokáját, s akiben Eszter mindenki másnál jobban megbízik. Eleinte észre sem veszi, hogy ezzel a bizalommal a nagyapja visszaél... Vajon meg lehet-e törni a generációkon átívelő, torz családi mintákat? Az Egyasszony alkotói ismét egy tabutémáról készítettek előadást.

Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
