Bármerre nézünk, a közös történetek középpontjában mindig az ember áll a maradandó, mondhatni örök kérdésével: az elmúlás az elmúlás utáni lét és az, hogy ki hogyan viszonyul ehhez. Antigoné mindezzel tisztában van, számára a létezés nem a test múlásával végződik. Ez a tudás pedig a történet többi szereplője közül kiemeli alakját, és bizonyosan minket, mai nézőket is megoszt majd aszerint, hogy mit is gondolunk a túlvilági dolgokról, mit is gondolunk az életről és annak az oly sokat kutatott értelméről.
