Ami késik, nem múlik, s hogy a minisztériumban minden fenekestül fordul fel abban részes még Galambos a magántitkár, a tinglitangli színésznőcske, az aktuális szerető, no meg egy kétbalkezes fényképész, aki mindig akkor süti el a masináját, amikor nem kellene, és persze a sármőr, gróf Sziráky a gazdag laptulajdonos... Igaz, bájos mese ez a javából! A filmvásznon és színpadon egyaránt zajos sikert aratott, helyzetkomikumokban bővelkedő, örök érvényű zenés komédia főszerepeit olyan korabeli sztárok alakították, mint Kiss Manyi, Kabos Gyula, Latabár Kálmán vagy Szeleczky Zita. This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
